HR Excellence Awards
Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA) is proud to provide professional recognition to area SHRM members, including students, for their outstanding performance and achievements in the HR profession and community.

The following NHRMA annual awards are open for submission and will be open until 11:59pm PT on June 15, 2026. Any SHRM member within the NHRMA region may submit a nomination. Self-nominations are also accepted.

- NHRMA Award for CHAPTER EXCELLENCE (honoring Randy Lundberg)
- NHRMA Award for DISTINGUISHED MEMBER
- NHRMA Award for UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT EXCELLENCE (honoring Robert Denomy)
- NHRMA Award for GRADUATE STUDENT EXCELLENCE (honoring Sharon Koss)
The awards selection committee will review all award nominations and, for each award, make a recommendation to the NHRMA Board. The selection committee consists of the NHRMA Awards Director (as Chair), NHRMA President, and NHRMA Vice President. For the student awards, NHRMA College Relations will also be on the committee. The NHRMA Board will make the final decision on award recipients. Following the board decisions, the NHRMA Awards Director will notify the nominators and the nominees via phone and email regarding the status of their nomination.
Awards will be presented at the NHRMA 2026 Annual Conference in Spokane, WA on September 8-9, 2026.
